The interactive kiosk experience includes a touchscreen interface that helps visitors easily navigate to dining, lodging, events and attractions. Additionally, mobiManage is developing an app that will be available on iOS and Android for both visitors and locals to download to access the city from the touch of a button on any smartphone. The app will provide an extended kiosk experience by evolving the information found at the kiosks to information on-the-go through the app. One such feature is the My Tickets feature; where kiosk users can purchase tickets and transfer/manage them through the app; and purchase additional tickets on-the-go. With the added functionality of push notifications and geo-fencing; Los Angeles Tourism will be able to serve up hyper-local content that is useful to visitors and locals.
